No Doubt, L7, Wu-Tang Lead Riot Fest Lineups


Get ready to cash in those airline miles, because Riot Fest have announced their lineups for Chicago, Denver and Toronto and they’re all packed enough to make any fan’s head spin. 

First, their flagship fest in Chicago: No Doubt tops the first wave of bands, along with Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Motörhead and, oh, just about any band that played Warped Tour in its golden years. Disbanded emo heroes The Academy Is… will reunite in honor of the 10 year anniversary of Almost Here.

The festival, landing Septemver 11-13 in Douglas Park, also boasts Snoop, Kongos, OK Go, Tenacious D, Andrew WK, Gwar, The Movielife, L7, Against Me, Faith No More–it’s almost too much to take in. Check out this lineup poster:


Onto Denver Riot Fest, which takes place in the National Western Complex August 28-30: The Pixies, Run-DMC, Ice Cube, Motörhead, Rancid, Explosions in the Sky, Coheed and Cambria, Eagles of Death Metal, Desaparecidos, The Dead Milkmen, The Get Up Kids. A second wave is still TBA.

Toronto Riot Fest goes down September 19-20 and is led by Alexisonfire, Wu-Tang, All Time Low, Tyler the Creator, (performing …And Out Come the Wolves in full), Frank Turner and several more big names, to be revealed on June 16.
